I'm fairly new to the AARP communities, but this one definitely caught my eye. Are there other members in here?
I'm a caregiver, and I had to relocate from Oakridge , OR to Ketchikan , Alaska to find work. While in OR, I worked for SDS officed in Eugene. Earlier this year, my hours were cut drastically because my clients were getting less if any help, because of the cut backs. I want so much to return to OR, and I'm trying to keep up with the latest updates on home health care. I also worked for an adult foster home. I believe they are under estimated and shoved under the rug, compared to the big corp. assisted living facilities.
I"m going to look around this site and check in from time to time. I'd like to get feedback from others. Good Luck and have a wonderful weekend.
