Lincoln resident Bonnie Coffey and her husband both lost their jobs along with their health insurance in 2007. At age 60, they are not yet eligible for Medicare but due to preexisting conditions, no insurance company will cover them. She worries that they could be bankrupted if one of them ends up in the hospital with no insurance. Bonnie is one of the growing number of 50-64 year-olds who can't find affordable health coverage. She is urging our elected leaders to find solutions to keep people like her "from completely falling through the cracks. We need your help."
