Ok, OK I am a Buckeye but so what I have held dear and loved the state of Michigan sence I was a boy. This may or may not be the correct forum but just a bit of info for people like myself that have a passion for the outdoors, art and seminars! Within a short distance to Marquette, MI I am planning to build a wildlife art center. The project will include twenty cabins, thirty condos and a 6.500 sq. ft. multi-use artistic seminar facility. All will be craftsman style and each unit will be sold on a one sixth deeded ownership which will give all owners two months at this breathtaking destination with equal summertime occupancy. Keeping the preservation of nature at the forefront of construction is a mandate. The name of this project will be called gwanaaj manidoo+g, Chippewa for Beautiful Spirit. I am a 63 year old contractor that just can't find what i am looking for as far as a retirement second home so I thought after talking to my best friend David Rankin, who will be the resident artist, check out his web site, that I needed to put a project together that is what I believe will be as exciting for others as myself. I have contacted Terry Huffman, owner of the ReMax branch in Marquette and several other individuals in that area and am looking foreward to breaking ground in the next few months. By the way this project isn't for the rich and famous but the middle American that doesn't have hundreds of thousands to throw at a second retirement home.
