Automatic IRA Act of 2007
Urge your legislator to co-sponsor the Automatic IRA Act

The Automatic IRA Act of 2007 would allow workers without access to employer-provided retirement plans to enroll in automatic individual retirement accounts (IRAs).   Here in the Bay State, that could help more than 760,000 workers start to save more for their futures.

Rep. Richard Neal (D-2nd) introduced the Automatic IRA Act in the U.S. House of Representatives. Rep. James McGovern (D-3rd) is a co-sponsor.

Contact your U.S. representative today and urge them to support this important legislation. To find your representative, visit http://maps.massgis.state.ma.us/legisdistrict/pages/main.jsp

Check with AARP Massachusetts at www.aarp.org/ma for updates on the progress of the bill.
