All I want to know is "in what way specifically is the AARP nonpartisan???? Is there a non-communist wing of the AARP, because that is the one I would like to join. Can anyone help me here????
P.S. I just looked at your profile. Maybe Comrade Molatav would not be so effusive in his praise for you. You have listed that you work directly for Mother AARP. The great communicator would certainly have thrown his voice through a private citizen to at least feign independence from the Mother State. "Long live proletarian internationalism."

It is a business fact that if there is a govt option for health care insurance that can operate at a decreased rate than private companies (because the govt is using tax dollars) more people will be driven into the govt option. The govt option will have a board determining "best practices" which means that board will decide what treatments are permissable. There will be no recourse against the govt board decision. Even in managed care, there is an appeals process. Also if the govt plans to cut billions from Medicare, as they say they will, the only result of that will be denied services and medications. AARP is not fulfilling it's obligation to protect it's members
