This is the actual rail road train visitors will take from the town of Williams up to and in to the Grand Canyon. Williams is the town about 65-75 south of the canyon. Which is just below the canyon. The trip can be purchased through the auto club. I would highly suggest taking the additional day. Which will get you a nights stay in the canyon at the Mastic Lodge. This video was taken from the back yard area of our cabin at the Mastic Lodge. The yellow mechanical device is a rail switcher, used to switch a train from one track to another.
