I can relate with you about the job hunting. I'm only 51 and re-trained in IT so I might be able to get a decent job to find that they don't really want to pay any more than the typical CSR jobs I had before I re-trained. So, now I have a huge school loan that I will never be able to pay off because I can't get a job that pays enough to do so. Besides, everything has been either outsources to another country or they would rather hire rotating temps so they don't have to pay benefits. Between those to things alone it cuts down the number of permanant /or full time jobs available by about 80%.
