About Me

Hello every one; My name is Dave, I'm from the Black Hills of South Dakota. I've spent a good many years of my life in Missouri. Grandview, that is a sub. of Kansas City. I've traveled most of my life. I had a business that allow me to see so many of this countrys beautiful landscapes. I am a spiritual person. I very much wish to walk with Christ. He has granted me so much in my life, even when I did not know He was there. I have a beautiful wife. Her name is Cat. She Has all the Catherine trates. But she loves me and that is the best part.

Interests:
We are both avid fisherpersons, campers, carpenters, elect, plumbing, landscaping, computer repair. It is hard to just say one thing that we love. " Life ". and all it has to offer. There is always something to do, or some place to go and it is always different. People can be amazing as well as cruel. We are People, People. Every one has a good in them. Some times it is really fun getting the grumpy to laugh, or the sad to smile. But it is there and so is God's Word and Will. You just need to know how to find it in each person.

We've been through the Deadwood, Lead area several times but it was years ago when our kids were little. Our most recent visits to the Black Hills were volunteer vacations working with the Forest Service not far from Hill City. There is a lot of natural beauty in South Dakota and I'm sure it must be a constant struggle for those folks to find a balance between too much development and not enough revenue...same problem we have in Colorado. Makes me sad to see all the beautiful wild places like you described swallowed up.

Your profile picture is beautiful and I like the lynx too. I was born not far from the Black Hills and still love visiting family back there. Welcome to the community!

Thank you for the welcome. Cat and I want to come back so bad, but my health has put a damper on that.
Do you get into the hills much, Deadwood and up along Spearfish canyon. Have you been to the new " well " not so new casino on the new spearfish canyon hwy. We used to cut fire wood there. That whole affair used to be open mountain range. No people, but Costner bought it and built his casino. They put in that new Hwy. too.
