How Do We Know You'll Have Fun At The 2005 Life@50+?

Two Words: New Orleans

Once the wealthiest city in America, New Orleans is rich in history of luxurious balls and banquets, fine restaurants, grand hotels and an appreciation of the arts. Built along the Mississippi River in southern Louisiana, New Orleans has it all: delectable foods, signature drinks, countless parades and festivals, Mardi Gras, haunted cemeteries and homes and most importantly, a whole lot of Southern Hospitality.

The 2005 Life@50+ | AARP's National Event & Expo is descending on the Big Easy for three unforgettable days and nights. Join Goldie Hawn and a host of other celebrities as we kick off the hottest event to hit New Orleans since Mardi Gras. Life@50+ reflects the changing face of AARP and offers dynamic speakers, headline entertainment, interactive exhibits, cutting-edge technologies, information on travel and leisure destinations, the latest offerings from AARP providers and services, and much more. And best of all, everything is planned with you in mind. So ease your mind and as the locals say laissez les bon temps roulez—let the good times roll!

Life@50+ will entice your appetite to explore New Orleans and take advantage of all it has to offer. Fish on the bayou, take in the aroma of the Garden District, visit historic plantations or the famous French Quarter, learn to cook with a Cajun flair, be mystified by voodoo and the haunted areas of the Crescent City, and get lost in the rhythms of jazz and blues. No matter how you look at it, New Orleans has a place for everyone and Life@50+ is ready to take you there. Expect more from your AARP, expect more in New Orleans!
