About the AARP Foundation

AARP Foundation Annual Reports and Financial Information

As AARP’s affiliated charity, the AARP Foundation is the leading philanthropic organization dedicated to confronting the economic challenges that Americans face as they live and age. With help from a legion of compassionate donors and dedicated volunteers, we work to help the most vulnerable in our society: those with incomes below the median, women, people of color and those who live alone.

In 2008, we are proud to have helped a record number of people improve their quality of life—more than 5 million—through direct, one-on-one assistance to 3.1 million people and by providing information to help 2.2 million make sound decisions for themselves and their families.
