Craig Smith earned his medical degree in from the University of Illinois in Chicago where he also completed his urology residency as an Administrative Chief Resident. Dr. Smith is a board-certified urologist with extensive urologic experience including reconstructive, routine and innovative surgical techniques and therapies for children and adults. Dr. Smith is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics and American College of Surgeons. He is a member of the American Urologic Association, American Association of Clinical Urologists, American Medical Association, Illinois State Medical Society and is actively involved in the local charter of the Christian Medical and Dental Society. He is affiliated with Central DuPage, Edward, Hinsdale, and Good Samaritan Hospitals.
Dr. Smith publishes on urology and pediatric urology topics for medical journals and textbooks. He also lectures at national urology conferences. He is considered an expert in the in-office treatment of Benign Prostate Hyperplasia (BPH) and proctors on the procedures across the nation.
