Regina Belle is an award-winning R&B and gospel vocalist. Her 1987 debut album, All By Myself, includes the hits “So Many Tears” and “Show Me the Way.” In 1992, Belle’s collaboration with Peabo Bryson on “A Whole New World” from the Disney film, Aladdin, earned the duo both Grammy and Academy Awards. Building on the chart-topping success of “God is Good” from her gospel debut album, Love Forever Shines, Belle released her second gospel offering, Higher, in 2012. The new album features duets with pastor Shirley Caesar, Kathy Taylor and Lowell Pye. Belle is First Lady of New Shield of Faith Ministries in Atlanta, where her husband, John Battle III, is senior pastor.
