
Ruth Nemzoff is a scholar who writes and lectures about family dynamics and relationships between parents and adult children. Her latest book is Don't Bite Your Tongue: How to Foster Rewarding Relationships with Your Adult Children.
Nemzoff is a resident scholar at the Brandeis Women’s Studies Research Center. Previously, she served in the New Hampshire legislature as assistant minority leader.
Nemzoff holds a doctorate in social policy from Harvard University, a master’s degree in counseling from Columbia University and bachelor of arts degree from Barnard College. She and her husband, Harris Berman, are the parents of four adult children.
