
Lyn St. James set 31 national and international speed records during her professional auto racing career and is renowned as one of the top race car drivers in the world. Her honors include being named 1992 Indy 500 Rookie of the Year and cited as one of Sports Illustrated magazine’s Top 100 Women Athletes of the Century. The author of four books, she now trains race car drivers and delivers motivational speeches.
St. James serves on the Kettering University Board of Trustees and NASCAR’s Diversity Council and Appeals Commission. She is also vice chair of the Indiana Governor’s Council on Physical Fitness.
