John Quiñones is the Emmy Award-winning co-anchor of ABC's Primetime. During his 25-year career at ABC, he has also reported extensively for 20/20. His recent work includes What Would You Do?, a series of reports that test human nature through hidden camera scenarios.
Quiñones joined ABC News in 1982 at its Miami bureau. Previously, he was at WBBM-TV in Chicago, where he won two Emmy Awards for 1980 reports on the plight of illegal aliens from Mexico. He earned a bachelor’s degree in speech communications from St. Mary's University in San Antonio, Texas, and a master's degree from the Columbia School of Journalism.
