Stephanie Chappell

Stephanie Chappell is a corporate gerontologist with The Hartford. She directs communications for the company’s Advance 50 Team, leading its media relations, online, corporate partnership and public awareness efforts. She also guides the sharing of information about aging-related trends throughout The Hartford. Chappell’s areas of expertise include retirement planning, financial gerontology, assisted living, long-term care and health insurance.

Prior to joining The Hartford in 2006, Stephanie held positions at United Healthcare, PacifiCare, MemorialCare Health System, Saddleback Home Caregivers and ARV Assisted Living, Inc. She earned a bachelor’s in psychology from Southern Methodist University, and master’s of business administration degrees from the University of Southern California.
