
Reed Tuckson, M.D., is executive vice president and chief of medical affairs at UnitedHealth Group, a leading health and well-being company. He works with all of the company’s business units to improve the quality and efficiency of health services. Previously, he was the American Medical Association’s senior vice president for professional standards; president of the Charles R. Drew University of Medicine and Science in Los Angeles; and the District of Columbia’s Commissioner of Public Health.
Dr. Tuckson is a graduate of Howard University, the Georgetown University School of Medicine, and the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania’s General Internal Medicine Residency and Fellowship Programs.
