Dr. Pepper Schwartz, Ph.D.

Pepper Schwartz, Ph.D., is a professor of sociology at the University of Washington in Seattle whose special focus is personal relationships. She is a fellow of the International Academy of Sex Research and the Past President of the Society for the Scientific Study of Sexuality. She is also the relationship expert for PerfectMatch.com.

Dr. Schwartz has authored 16 books and numerous academic articles. She received her bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Washington University in St. Louis, and her master’s and Ph.D. from Yale University. Dr. Schwartz and her family live on a horse farm in Washington state.
