The Four Tops are one of soul music’s most popular and long-lived vocal groups. This quartet from Detroit, Michigan, endured for more than 40 years without a single change in personnel. Moreover, they charted hits at every stage in their lengthy career. At Motown Records, the Four Tops’ hits included “Baby I Need Your Loving,” “Standing in the Shadows of Love” and “Bernadette.”

During the British Invasion of the U.S., the Four Tops became a sensation in England. After signing with different labels in the 1970s and 1980s, hits included “When She Was My Girl” and “I Believe in You and Me.” The Four Tops were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1990.
