Ryan Lynch is assistant special agent in charge of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services' Office of Inspector General. He heads its Miami regional office and supervises the Tampa field office, which covers Orlando. After serving for four years in military intelligence with the U.S. Army, Lynch became a special agent with the FBI, working health fraud, violent crime, drug and other cases in Utah and Louisiana. He joined the HHS Office of Investigations in 2002 as special agent in San Francisco before being promoted to his current position. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Russian area studies and history from Louisiana State University.
