Lee Woodruff gained critical acclaim for the best-selling book, In an Instant, which chronicled her family’s journey to recovery following the roadside bomb injuries suffered by her husband, ABC News reporter Bob Woodruff, in Iraq. They co-founded the Bob Woodruff Foundation to assist wounded service members in receiving long-term care services and support. Woodruff is a contributing editor for ABC’s Good Morning America, reporting on home and family related topics. She recently published her second book, Perfectly Imperfect – A Life in Progress. Previously, she was a public relations and marketing executive. Woodruff resides in Westchester County, New York with her husband and four children.
