In 2013, for the first time, AARP Media Road Show will be visiting the two AARP Life@50+ National Events taking place this spring in Las Vegas and this fall in Atlanta. Created in 1996, the AARP National Spelling Bee competition is held every year in Cheyenne, Wyoming. Spellers travel from across America to showcase a lifetime of knowledge and to celebrate their years of experience. Read
Register for the 2013 Spelling Bee
The Bee is Friday, July 12, and Saturday, July 13, 2013, in Cheyenne, Wyo. Open to anyone 50 or older, the contest will entertain and challenge you. Need more motivation? You'll meet like-minded people, test your orthographic skills against some of the best spellers in the nation and compete for a top prize.
