Jacek's Dream

Jacek is my first grandson, born 3-3-06. Since birth he has captured all who meet him at the mall or on the street. Jacek is "Autistic" and is filled with endless energy.

Jacek has the imagination of Peter Pan and the humor of Mickey Mouse and carries within his being the dreams of fantasy of all Disney characters.

Mr. Disney had Jacek in mind when he created Disney World.

It is my dream adventure as his grandmother to see his beautiful face shine "UP" at Disney Magical Kingdom. I love Disney at 62 years young.

This adventure would be a dream come true - an answer to many prayers! A time to remember for all the days left of our lives. We would be grateful for life.

Up - Up - is the way to Disney!!!! An awesome family film that Jaycek, grandma and mom adore.

Mr. Disney look down upon us and give us a dream travel adventure. Up. Up. Up.

We took our three grandchildren to Walt Disney World last year for our oldest grandchild's birthday on June 22nd. We had been planning the trip for over a year.

Four days before we were to go, my granddaughter was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes. She was only six years old and very little for her age.

Children's Hospital in Columbus told us not to cancel our trip because she needed to feel as if she could do anything any other six year old could do.

But it wasn't so.

We hadn't had time to adjust to her care and she certainly hadn't either. She was so tired all the time. She had to have four shots a day and check her (blood sugar) levels every couple of hours to stay regulated.

June 22 is almost here again. She received the insulin pump last week. It was very expensive but it's an expense we will gladly pay. But, once again, it is another item to adjust to. She is such a brave little girl and the love of our life. We hope to one day be able to take her back to Disney so she can enjoy it this time.

Winning this trip would be a dream come true.
