Art Miller is a health administrator who is devoted to providing the nation’s military, veterans and their families with high-quality health care. He became chief operating officer of UnitedHealth Military and Veterans Service in 2008. Previously, he headed Infocrossing Healthcare Services, Inc. Miller’s 23 years in the U.S. Navy include improving the CHAMPUS/TRICARE programs, commanding troops during Desert Shield/Desert Storm and leading military participation in the FBI’s evidence recovery effort at the Pentagon following 9/11. He retired with the rank of captain. At the University of Miami, Miller earned a BS in Chemistry, an MBA and a graduate certificate in health care administration.
