Tom Joyner is a much-honored media personality who hosts the nationally syndicated radio program, “The Tom Joyner Morning Show.”  He is also an entrepreneur, an entertainer and a philanthropist who has used his visibility to boost voter registration, promote relief for victims of Hurricane Katrina and educate promising African American college students.  After earning a bachelor’s degree in sociology from Tuskegee (Institute) University, Joyner began his broadcasting career in Montgomery, Ala.  He gained national recognition after flying daily between Dallas, where he was a morning broadcaster, and Chicago, where he was the afternoon drive-man.  Joyner resides in Dallas with his wife, fitness guru Donna Richardson.
