Ed Gjertsen

Ed Gjertsen is vice president of the financial planning and money management firm of Mack Investment Securities, Inc.  He has been a certified financial planner for more than 16 years.  He founded the Mutual Bond Group, an organization dedicated to guiding surviving spouses to financial independence.  Gjertsen is past president and chairman of the Financial Planning Association of Illinois, and co-founded the Association’s National Diversity Initiative.  He holds a bachelor of science degree in economics from Illinois State University.  He and his wife reside in Winnetka, Ill., with their two children.
