Gloria Estefan is a music superstar both in English and in Spanish whose greatest hits include “Reach,” “Words Get in the Way” and “Conga.” In April 2009, she kicks off a Latin American tour likely to echo the success of her recent sold-out European tour. She has won seven Grammy Awards, including two in 2008 for “90 Millas,” which celebrates her Cuban roots. That same year, she became the first female recipient of the Latin Recording Academy’s “Person of the Year.” Estefan made her big-screen debut in 1999 with Meryl Streep in Music Of The Heart, and performed its Oscar-nominated theme song with Justin Timberlake and *NSYNC. Estefan resides in Miami with her husband, Emilio.
