Dr. Jane Aronson is known as the “Orphan Doctor.” She's a skilled pediatrician specializing in international adoptions and orphaned children, and founder of the Worldwide Orphans Foundation (WWO).

One of the WWO's most recent initiatives, appropriately named, “granny” or “baba," pairs retired teachers and childcare professionals with orphaned children.

The WWO describes one of its key goals as making sure that orphaned children aren’t defined by the lack of a mother and father.

On this edition of Prime Time Radio, host Mike Cuthbert talks with Dr. Aronson about the WWO and available volunteering opportunities for our listeners. To hear more, click "play" on the audio player to the left.
