In a new book, journalist and author Allison Hoover Bartlett shares a strange true-crime tale of a particularly pesky book thief.

“The Man Who Loved Books Too Much: The True Story of a Thief, a Detective and a World of Literary Obsession,” tells the tale of John Gilkey, the book-obsessed kleptomaniac, and Ken Sanders, a book dealer and amateur detective determined to catch him.
