In the Tuscan town of Anghiari, Italy, the successful commercial production of cloth and lace started at the end of the 1700s with people weaving wool form sheep grazing near their homes.  It is a custom that has remained strong with its denizens.

Now townspeople are taking the craft of lace-making to new heights in an effort bring tourists to their streets.

Independent producer Jean Di Marino visited this small town and shares pictures and the story.
