A new report entitled Heart Attack Entrées and Side Orders of Stroke says salt should be regulated as a food additive.

The report, from the Center for Science in the Public Interest, says that adults with no medical issues shouldn’t have more than 2300 mg a day of salt (about a teaspoon).  Many processed foods and restaurant meals will get you far more salt than that.
