AIAS-AARP LIVABLE COMMUNITIES DESIGN COMPETITION

AIA-AARP Livable Communities Design Competition

The American Institute of Architecture Students and AARP have teamed up again to co-sponsor a design competition.

Each contestant had to design a community that included accessible housing units, common living spaces, and commercial areas that could serve people of all generations.

The winners came up with some great ideas! Alyne tours the exhibit and describes some of these innovative and creative designs.
