Remember those old pianolas? When you attached a piano roll, they just played along beautifully all by themselves. But now the last company in the world that made piano rolls has decided not to make any more.

Piano rolls provided entertainment in public and in homes.  Until recently, they were still manufactured for the dwindling number of instruments that could use them.  Now, they're going the way of the Tin Lizzy.
