So many Americans find themselves out of work that President Obama has taken as a key goal the creation of as many as four million jobs.  But for some, especially older Americans, it will be too little too late.

Out of work when the paper mill closed down, Jim McClain now has a new job, but along the way he got sick and went through severe financial turmoil. His story is one of the many you can read about in AARP The Magazine and today he tells us how he found new work, and new purpose in his life.
