Nevada Retired School Employees Association

The Nevada Retired School Employees Association (NRSEA) serves the interests of retired school employees in the state.  Founded in 1963 as Nevada State Retired Teachers Association, the more inclusive name, Nevada Retired School Employees Association, was adopted in 2008.  NRSEA promotes the economic, social, and professional welfare of our retirees.

Our activities are planned and executed with the good of our members in mind.  We support legislation to protect and improve retirement benefits for educators, and work with other groups to safeguard and enhance the interests of Nevada Retired School Employees Association members. We also provide helpful resources to retirees, and host one statewide convention each year to foster the exchange of ideas and information among members throughout Nevada.  Membership dues are $5 per year and we publish a newsletter called The Desert Sage.
