About the AARP Global Network
The AARP Global Network is the preeminent international network of organizations serving the needs of the mature population in countries around the world. Through its member organizations, the AARP Global Network provides expertise and advisory services to help organizations deliver positive social change and better meet the needs and interests of the populations they serve, facilitates access to reciprocal membership benefits and leverages product and service provider relationships across borders.
AARP created AARP Global Network in 2006 after more than 40 years of proactive international involvement, including founding the Association of Retired Persons International, the International Federation on Ageing, and the AARP Global Aging Program.

DaneAge Association
Denmark’s DaneAge was founded in 1986 and based in Copenhagen. It has more than a half million members - one-fourth of the nation’s 50+ population.
DaneAge became the AARP Global Network’s charter member in January 2007.
Denmark has an outstanding network of social support for its citizens, which helps them remain healthy and productive throughout their lives. DaneAge has built on that strong foundation by advocating for its members with policymakers both at national and local levels.
They also provides timely information on consumer health, finances, travel, leisure and self-improvement through a bimonthly lifestyle magazine, access to a free member counsel hotline and discounts on products and services.

50 & Più
Italy’s 50 & Più was founded nearly 35 years ago and serves 400,000 members. They joined the AARP Global Network in January 2008. Headquartered in Rome, 50 & Più has 800 offices across Italy and 17 offices in six other countries around the world.
50 & Più aims to meet social needs and lifestyle interests; benefits the organization offers include fiscal and pension advice, tax assistance, advocacy, healthcare services, insurance products, unique travel packages, discounts, publications, education opportunities, and social events.

CARP
CARP is a non-profit, non-partisan organization with 350,000 members. Its mandate is to promote and protect the rights and quality of life of Canadians age 45 and over, defined as “Zoomers”, a term descriptive of the active, engaged, and vital demographic that is emerging in Canada.
CARP seeks to accomplish this mission by developing practical recommendations to enhance health care, human rights and income; working with government on policy initiatives; providing information on key political and economic issues as well as lifestyle choices; and negotiating group benefits and savings on services and products.

ANBO

Dignity Foundation
Dignity Foundation was established in April 1995, to cater to the needs of the elderly, starting with the publication of the magazine Dignity Dialogue. It currently has 60,000 members and is headquartered in Mumbai, India with chapters in 6 major cities of India.
Its main aim is to facilitate the 50+ into productive ageing. It has launched several initiatives such as second career; income generating civic engagement; problem solving social support such as HELPLINE in 6 cities; companionship and counseling services; owns a large retirement township; and also has an active presence in the country for the care of patients afflicted with Alzheimer's Disease and Parkinson’s.
