ElderWatch operates in cooperation with the state attorney general's office and protects seniors from financial fraud and other forms of consumer abuse. Since 2001, ElderWatch volunteers have called more than 350,000 older Coloradans to warn them about possible scams.
"AARP Foundation's ElderWatch program specializes in helping older people manage their money and recognize, refuse and report financial scams," said Amy Nofziger, who manages the program.
