We know that property taxes are an important pocketbook issue for you, and that's why AARP ND fights to help reduce them year after year. In 2023, the ND Legislature added a new tax relief credit, and expanded an existing program. Find out if you're eligible for property tax relief here.

Help us make positive change for North Dakotans 50 and older — join our Advocacy Team! The A-Team is a diverse group of volunteers playing a key role in our mission to lead positive social change. As a member of the A-Team you might:

  • Visit elected officials to discuss legislation
  • Write letters to the editor
  • Track and take action curing state legislative sessions
  • Educate other AARP members on key issues
  • Participate in monthly calls and regular face-to-face meetings to stay informed about AARP-led state and federal advocacy efforts
